Then we had to earn a living as well as keep house and bring up the kids, women had and still have it much tougher than men, well I did anyway!

We all did Summer. I decided not to have children and, although I never did, I couldn't avoid having children to care for, because there was always a man in my life!

When I was growing up there were seven of us kids, my mother didn't have time to pamper my dad. He was a miner who worked shifts and he helped my mother around the house whenever he could. She wouldn't have had time to read rubbish like that.
