tlantic Challenger II for sale.

With a repair/servicing cost of around £1.5m+ I doubt it will ever be seaworthy again.

What a crying shame.

Re: tlantic Challenger II for sale.

I am at a loss T.pin what am I missing it says its now sea worthy after a refitting in 2013.

"Although built in 1984, this boat was completely renovated and refitted in 2013 and now runs like new. "

It looks a grand boat, but I ain't got any loose change to buy it at the moment..

I may be mistaken but I was under the impression it wasn't seaworthy anymore...I'll have to dig deeper.

Edit: The guy that owned it(A Brit living in Spain)spent 1000 man hours restoring it and spent £500k.

I doubt that is enough to make it seaworthy after being left, untouched, for 25 years.

A 78' motor boat would cost about £75k per annum on maintenance alone....then there's fuel..twin 2000hp diesels I reckon about £1200+ per hour at WOT(wide open throttle)...a bargain

Point taken Judd I shall dismiss it as a personal Christmas present to myself.
Must admit I lost a lot of respect for him when he went on one about Brexit and a few more for that matter.

To run that you'd need the top drawer Seastart membership, that's for sure.

Will they deliver it, or is it buyer collects?

I suspect buyer collects......I can recommend a specialist transport company based in Portsmouth if you're interested

You could keep it in St Katherine's
