Thank You.

Hi

Thanks for all your support, it is very much appreciated.

We all have times in our life when things go wrong, unfortunately this is one of them.

They cannot operate on me, the risk is too great, so on heart tablets for the rest of my life.

One of my few remaining friends suffered from depression and has taken his own life.

I am home today, trying to salvage what is left of my aquarium.

Monday they are coming to sort out the problems with my heating and water.

I hope they can do it, it is a nightmare.

I am still having problems with my OAP Pension. nothing paid since I reached 65 in December.

The issue is apparently an equivalent Pension when I was attached to the Military and they need my Payroll Number from 1978. of which I have no idea at all.

Just to say thank you for all your support and messages, both on the site and off, those who have my email and phone number.

A special thank you to Mups, Morti, Twinks, Tpin and Fender.

Apologies to those I have missed.

I am very sorry to hear you are having problems with your health and finances. I hope the tablets help and you get your pension sorted.

Re: Thank You.

Swimmy, stay positive and you will get there in the end.

BTW, I don't think any of us want the health problems, that age brings, but it looks like we don't get any choice. You know where we are when you want to have a moan!

Re: Thank You.

No thanks needed, SF.
It's a pleasure knowing you.
Don't be a stranger and one day we'll get that days fishing in, it's a long time since I enjoyed a day out on a Shropshire bank.

Re: Thank You.

Sorry to hear about your Pension and health issues SF.
Keep your chin up, although I am sure if you had one, your swear box would be quite full by now, don't let the b.gg..s get you down.(put 10p in for me!) Everything that is problematic always seem to come together where no doubt it feels as though the world is against you, but honestly, it will right itself in the end.

All the best xx Shroppy

Re: Thank You.

Finding hope in the midst of despair is difficult, but having read a few of your posts I know you are strong. Let the new growth take over.

Re: Thank You.

Life is a right bummer when you get landed with problems ... they always seem to come in duplicate or triplicate.
Pension .. Money.
Health .. happiness
Home .. your snug nest and retreat from the world.

Bet it feels like juggling balls.
Thank god we've all got each other on here to help cheer us up or lend an ear or shoulder to cry on.
I'm glad you're back. I really am.
