Do you ?

When meeting for the first time do you form an instant opinion? Maybe based on what they are wearing, hair or shoes.
Many say " I don't judge " but that's not true it's been proven we do . Often in times gone by for self preservation.
So what do you notice when first meeting .

Yes I think it's perfectly natural to 'take in' what appears in front of you, we wouldn't have been given 'senses' otherwise.

Our first obsevations can often warn us of danger or unpleasant people as well as relaxed feelings if we comfortable with someone.

I'm like you Ripple in I probably notice size and facial expression first.

I wouldn't ever want to feel neutral about everything.

Everything really, the whole person. I couldn't just look at one thing to form an opinion about someone.

It is reputed that Peter Sellars was once asked why he took an instant dislike to people..............It saves time.

I think I take in the whole person, personality etc. I know for some people I have only ever met once I have formed an instant report with, some though I have never seen face to face again, which is sad as I knew we could have been great friends & some people I've met, chatted to & have immediately seen their faults but have still liked them. We all have faults, but if you have friends, true friends, those faults don't matter.

I do form an instant opinion but I'm often wrong so I've learned to ignore it.

The first thing I notice is the teeth then eyes.

The face has it. I admit to being of a flippant nature. A lady once said to me regarding another male-if my tits were in my face he might just look at it.
