Good morning all. Back down to the allotment today for another coat of painting. We also applied Cuprinol to the wooden shelving, and lino will also be put on the shelves themselves.

Can't wait till it's all finished!

Good morning fellow members foggy and cold here.

Just been to look at the garlic which is coming up nicely, I am longing to get out into the garden to do some jobs. It is all so wet now.

Lots of ironing to do today and a lunch of home made soup and home made bread.

Good morning all.
Let's start with the news of the wife.
Yesterday she seemed a bit calmer. Although not very responsive but did look at me when I first got to her bed and spoke to her.
It is going to be a long process I realise, and I shall have to take it day by day.
I got dragged out to a friends of ours birthday party at a local resturant. Grub was OK when it arrived. Later than when I normally have my evening meal. But it was so noisy.
I actually drove there myself, and it seems ages that I last drove after dark.
I noticed that my rear number plate had a bulb out. It was a loose bulb that I have just fixed.

My son as just called in to see me - first time since Christmas day - so that was a nice surprise.

Cold and grey day, and I've got a rotten headache, so shan't be doing anything much.

My heating and hot water has packed up again.

An electrical fault, sitting in the lounge which is the only room with an electric fire.

Have jus seen Mr./Mrs Ratty sitting inside the Birds table eating everything and my little Robin is trying to Muzzle in on the food.

Emjay, sorry to hear the recovery could take a long time. I bet it's exhausting you, isn't it, up and down to the hospital each day? Is she still in London?
