Early to Rise?

How early to you get up in the mornings? Is it necessity or choice?

Or do you have to be prised away from your duvet?

I usually get up at 7.45pm, earlier if I have to go out somewhere.

Much depends on the season-Cleo has this habit of waking me up at dawn to remind me it`s time for her breakfast.

Cats do that!!

Our cats were always booted out at night, so no chance of being woken up by one!

Re: Early to Rise?

I have difficulty getting to sleep at night, often don't drop off until 4.00-5.00am. I am usually up before 8.30am even then though ....... on 'good-sleep' nights I usually get up about 7.45am.

Re: Early to Rise?

I wake up in the middle of the night, most nights as my brain is overactive, I don't remember when I last had a peaceful sleep!

Normally bed between mid-night and 1:00am, up at 5:30am as I have done for the last 30years.

Re: Early to Rise?

I try to wake up naturally - no alarm clocks. And I go to sleep when I feel tired

Re: Early to Rise?

Always wake up around 6.00 without the need of an alarm clock. I sometimes wake up totally exhausted though, despite 8+ hours sleep as I dream, dream, dream, every night. Mind you, I would rather that than not being able to sleep which must be awful.

Re: Early to Rise?

I go to bed between 12 and 1 and read for a little while. I then wake up approx every half hour before getting up at 5am.
