Children wearing slippers in schools

A primary school has allowed children to wear slippers in school and apparently it's very successful .
The children feel warm comfortable and secure and make less noise .
All this puts them into a good frame of mind for learning

My husband, a former head teacher, nearly choked when he heard that on the lunch time news!

Re: Children wearing slippers in schools

My children had slippers at school when they were little this because we lived in a village and in winter most children came to school in wlly boots or clogs both of which were very muddy and clogs make an awful noise indoors.
