Good morning Tuesday

Good morning all, heavy drizzle and windy here and forecast to continue for the rest of the day...

We are shopping for a new (secondhand) car today as ours was written off yesterday as Mrs B was driving to Tesco. Thankfully she walked away with neither a scratch nor a bruise from our Peugeot 508 so we are hoping to find an exact replacement within 20 miles or so.

Good morning people.
A bit of shopping with my daughter and then lunch in either Sainsbury's or Morrisons.
Then it is to the hospital for my wife.
She is in intensive care now. They have sedated her so she is not very responsive.
There are more tubes in her than Londons underground.
Did I tell you that they have diagnosed that she has 'Cushings syndrome'. Never heard of it? Google it.

Barry, sorry to hear about the car write off, but glad Mrs B is ok.

Emjay, and so sorry to hear of your wife's ongoing treatment. Have they given a prognosis for the Cushing's? It must be such a worry for you all. Sending best wishes to you and hope she does well.

No Jazzi they have not told us. It would seem that she has had it for years. That is why her muscles and bones are so weak.

Oh Barry - your wife must have been so shook up.
I was in a similar situation a few years go. All that matters is that she is ok and good luck with your car hunting.

Emjay, all my best wishes to your wife. I have heard of Cushings Syndrome but never really knew what it was.
