Oh well, I didn't like my kitchen anyway.

This morning one of my mum's carers came in.....went to the kitchen to make a cuppa......."Terry....quick.....the tap has disappeared"

There has been a small leak in the cold feed to my mixer tap....a fine jet, directing water to the underside of the worktop.

It must have been there for months as the worktop was rotten to the core.

The carer had turned the tap on and it disappeared down a sinkhole(no pun intended). The look on her face was priceless.

so, now I'm looking at new worktops.....it makes sense to replace the doors too.

The silver dishwasher will not match the new tops....nor the microwave.....

Sorry for your dilemma Tpin ...but....
....that's it now the dreaded K word has been mentioned in a thread title and we will now be deluged with posters from the Philippines pretending to be in Bradford and trying to sell us shoddy K*******

Actually it may be good for me...doing it myself may keep me out of trouble.

Ooooop.....I didn't realise the mention of my kitchen and kitchen worktops.....and kitchen sink.....along with kitchen taps.....would bring the kitchen sellers out of the kitchen woodwork
