Several of the worlds couture designers are refusing to 'dress' America's new first lady.

Ralph Lauren who dressed her in that lovely blue outfit for the inauguration ceremony now faces a boycott from some of his wealthy customers.

Ralph Lauren shares shot up as a result of that inauguration dress. He'll have a fine time dressing Russian and Saudi women as well as wealthy Republicans with old money and new.

What the press isn't telling us is that there are designers lining up to dress her. Caroline Herrera was one of the first to come out and say she would be delighted to step into that role.

I'm just going to stand by and see how this develops and in the long term hope that the yappy designers hurt themselves and their businesses with their empty rhetoric because at the end of the day who really cares?

She looked out of this world at the inauguration, there wasn't a woman there who came close and plenty who wished they did, I'm sure.

I saw many publications compare her to Jackie O in terms of style and sophistication.
