Daily Politics
Today's show had a discussion on restoration work to the Palace of Westminster. A few MP's object to moving out although the building is at risk from fire. The building does not have the same regulations, old heating system has electrical wires alongside and there is an asbestos problem. They're in a bit of a quandary, aren't they?Either stay in an unsafe building or:
"MPs face a six-year drinking ban after a committee decided they will move to an office block operating under Islamic laws while the Palace of Westminster is refurbished."
My bet is that they'll risk the Palace of Westminster!
