Why was it towed, Tpin? Were the police having a 'harass the motorist day' or something ?

I can't believe that you would have done anything naughty with it - now would you?

It must have been, otherwise the Police wouldn't have towed it!!! There's likely to be a £60.00 fine plus the cost of storage of the car until you collect it.

Wrong again.......it appears it has a lot of unpaid tickets against it...all prior to my ownership.

Re: 999...Hello, which emergency servic? police please.

I have had the same conversation years ago when my car was towed for being a few minutes over on a meter.

After a lot of form filling and discussion at the local plod station, he asked if anyone had seen anyone take it.

'Yes one of you lot' I replied.

Unpaid Tickets I assume you will be having a word with the garage you bought it from and giving them the bill
