I am now officially a nerd and an anorak.

A couple of months ago I bought a car I'd always wanted eversince Mazda launched them.....an RX8.

Like all the other RX models they're quite rare and unique as they are powered by a rotary engine.

Anyway, I joined an online owners forum to get some idea if how to look after these engines.......so I became a bit of a nerd.

Today I have booked my place on a trip to Holland for 4 days in July.
This involves a drive to Folkestone. ....ferry.......then drive to our destination and a weekend of car fun.....a European meeting of Rotary owners and their cars......plus some beer.

There'll be plenty of track time for owners to stretch the cars legs, so to speak.

I am now an official anorak.
