No I'm a confusion of contradictions lol office cleaner so very working class, child in private school so very middle class, ambitious for my kids so again middle class, holiday in uk in a caravan again working class.

I always thought class system was quite rigid but it's all a load of rubbish these days IMO

I love the royals I don't see them as a higher class or better, just part of the cogs of our society that get a lot of unwarranted flack.

I am confused. My Father was a bank manager, my Mother before us kids, worked in a perfume factory, my paternal Grandfather before he retired, was the managing director of a firm.
I worked in a shop, then once the kids came, looked after them, when they grew up, I worked as a cleaner & looked after peoples horses. My late OH worked for several years for a motor racing firm & was a sheet metal worker foreman, when we moved here & before he retired.

I never went to a private school, though my Dad did threaten me with boarding school several times.

So what am I? You are right, Julie, it is a load of rubbish.
