I don’t see why it should be published unless one is a public figure and has leeched off public money all their lives, the public have a right to cry over spilt milk.
All your own family members would know anyway and all your old friends would be dead, so what business is it of anyone else’s bar God and the devil.

Do you mean an announcement in the local paper or something like that? If so then why ever not?
