Favourite things

Amongst all the fluffy socks, biscuits, wine and toiletries were these three beauties!
However, hosting lunch for 10 and sharing that was the best part of the day.

What has been your favourite gift/thing of the day so far?

Jordan made me a beautiful knitted rug absolutely gorgeous I'm not putting it on the floor Stevens going to hang it in the bedroom for me.

Nathan made me a wooden box to keep photographs in he's inlaid the top with different coloured woods I can see that becoming a life long treasure.

Grace had to have a little help in the end but the socks she knitted me with a tiny bit of help at the end from Steven are so soft and warm I'm wearing them now.

And Steven made me a walking stick out of a branch he had to cut off our flowering cherry that we planted when my nan died so that will be treasured too.

Have to say and yes I'm boasting I can't think of anything I'd rather have had.

Son gave me two attachments for my Kenwood Chef, and my daughter gave me a Pimm's hamper. I am one happy bunny!

A framed picture of my 3 grandchildren is my favourite gift . I have put it next to my computer desk where I can keep an eye on them
