How do you handle posts when you feel somebody is trying to brainwash you

This doesn't happen very often, but occasionally you get somebody who believes they are so right, that they are not prepared to listen to others points of view. How do you handle this?

1) You present your own view anyway. It's interesting. A discussion is not a discussion if there are no differing views.
2) You stop reading them.
3) You think ... 'stuff it'.

I grew up with a piece of shite whose word was Gospel. I`m older now and pity them. Ignore or a kick in the goolies.

Just think of them as trapped in their own world, their own mindset and try feeling sorry for them. Everyone needs a hobby.
