We hear about long running shows on the tv & radio , some are near perfect formats , hence their longevity. I salute.......JUST A MINUTE
Running since 1967, this award winning program has run since 1967, that’s coming up to 50 years
I take my hat off to Nicholas Parsons, host of this how since its the beginning, remaining sharp as can be , now an incredible 93 years old
DESERT ISLAND DISCS
Thankyou Roy Plomley, your creation has gone over 3000 episodes, the first on January 29 1942
Roy was 71 when he died after 43 years in the chair. This British institution has lasted now for 74years.
HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU
Consistently, brilliant & topical (excluding repeats) Ian Hislop has only missed one show of the nearly 500 produced since 1990.
