Good Morning Thursday
Good morning folks.Only got an old picture for you today. This dog was my lovely old 'Shep' who I managed to get away from a bloke who was going to shoot him! And 'Penny' a sheep I raised from a tiny lamb, she used to curl up and sleep with the dogs when she was tiny. She was a great character.

Good morning all.Mups Shep and the Lamb are lovely.
We were up all night with Coco, she had a stomach upset and kept going to the toilet and crying, we must have got up about 6 times in the night, eventually she laid down next to me on the bed put her head on my thigh and he legs wrapped around mine, so that I couldn't move and got cramp in the night and this morning and she finally fell asleep, but she is up and rearing to go this morning.

buenas dias all. I slept late this morning, all the walking around yesterday and the travelling back wore me out I guess. Today will be busy also, a Christmas lunch to attend and then to friends for dinner tonight. Out again tomorrow and hopefully Saturday and Sunday I will be able to get some housework and laundry dealt with before leaving again for 3 days early Monday morning. It looks quite cloudy outside right now but I can see some blue sky, no doubt the cloud will disappear sometime this morning.Have a nice day all.

Good morning folks, tipping down here but we've walked and bathed and dried the dogs and now having a coffee and cake before deciding what to do next.Great picture Mups and a nice little story, sorry to hear of Coco's woes Susie, hope she's ok now.

Good morning fellow members the rain has stopped and the sun is out, very mild too.A busy morning, emergency supplies of mince pies were required for the children so I have been busy baking and my son is coming to lunch

what a happy expression on Shep's face
Penny was a funny sheep Meg. Most people when they have to work, leave the kids with Grandma, but I used to leave Penny with my Mum. She used to mug anyone that came in Mum's gate and try to pinch their shopping bags.
If they left the back door open, she would wander into the house, which Dad didn't much like. He soon learned not to shout at her though, because if he raised his voice she would wee, then pepper the carpet with 'currants.'
He learned to take her collar and gently walk her back out and she was good as gold then.
She used to jump in my old van when I took the dogs for a run, she wouldn't be left behind. She was a playful and affectionate old thing, but eventually, when she was big and strong, I had to return her to my farmer friend where she lived for a long time, still mugging anyone carrying shopping bags!
