Same old story

Have there been many old story's that go the same way, is it time to accept that that's the way it is.

I agree with you Spitty, the same old yarns with a different name and spin on them for each generation, and we’ve all fallen for the same old tricks over and over again.
There’s one that stares us in the face everytime we go shopping be it on line or in the shops, “Only £19.99" same thing in dollars and euros, that must be one of the oldest tricks in the book, yet we continue to fall for it, we will say the £19 first instead of saying £20 less a penny, what the hell can you get for a penny? banks don’t even recognise a penny anymore, so the practice should be made illegal.
The manual for politicians hasn’t changed since Methuselah wrote it, they just switch the words around for each country and generation. We are indeed a flock of sheep.
