Who is your favourite male or female actor/ess.

In this day and age I have to admit that it would take someone special to knock one of my icons off the top of my list.
In the years I have been watching movies and tv series I have to admit one of the best actors I would have to say would be Nick Nolte.
Who is that I hear most of you ask especially one certain fellow on the forum who has never heard of anybody . No names mentioned cos he knows who he is.

Yes back to old Nick Nolte I remember first seeing him in a series called Rich Man Poor Man I would dash home just to watch this guy I thought his acting then at a young age was fantastic really fitting into the part of the rowdy son who was always getting beat up by his old man whilst his do goody brother could never put a foot wrong. Then he went quiet for a few years apparently word was that he lived his social life much like the rowdy kid I watched in the series always boozing and doing whatever and getting into trouble. But then he came back in I think it was The Deep and immeadiately I saw that great actor back to his best, but in a completely different roll. Years went by and we saw him in comedy's and in serious movies and in sobby ones. For me he is such a all rounder something that is missing alot of in todays actors.
I believe he is still about in his 70s I did hear a while back he had passed but apparently that was just an hoax thank god.
So who is one of your favourites, answers on postcards please.

Alan Rickman - I know he is dead now but there was something about him in his films that was powerful, he may not have always been the lead actor but he shone.

Of the oldies John Wayne in anything, Ingrid Bergman - the Inn of the Sixth Happiness and Cary Grant in anything. Audrey Hepburn for the Nuns Story, Breakfast at Tiffanys.

I have to say I prefer the older films they have such staying power and watch them time and time again.

Don't have favourites, but I like a lot. If I have to say then David Tennant & Johnny Depp, but plenty of others. including Dame Judy Dench & Maggie Smith.

I did like Pete Posilthwaite ( probably spelled that wrong) but he's dead.
I think Jim Carey or Tom Hanks, female Cathy Burke or Joanne Lumley. Difficult to chose one of each.

Ah Mr Hopkins such a fine actor.
He is another that draws me to him when I see him in any movie or series.
One of the reasons I started watching WestWorld.
He started of quietly and you feel sorry for him,but the old guy is starting to creep back and I am enjoying it.
He also as a co actor with him in it Ed Harris another good un.

Hard to think of just one but I like the old films so has to be Bette Davis and, probably, Clarke Gable or Gary Cooper.
Don't watch many modern day films or TV, really.

All mine are dead
I don't go to the cinema so don't know who most of today's 'stars' are.

I have remembered a live one Al Pachino
