I haven't got one but if I was getting it done I would first consider what not to get done like, names, flags, mums or dads, cartoon characters, rock bands, singers etc. Don't forget the stuff that will become outdated. When you've crossed all that off you should be left with a sensible list to choose from.

No tattoos here and I can't see me ever wanting one now

IF I had wanted one years ago, I think I would have chosen a delicate flower......

No tattoos but if I did it would be a butterfly on my shoulder.

Wouldn't consider it (needle phobia and age!!), but if I did it would be a cat's pawprint on my ankle.

I'd have a little butterfly too I think, somewhere discreet like and ankle or shoulder.
Can you just imagine in years to come, the residents of old peoples' homes with tattoos of rock bands etc. It might give the carers some insight into the fact that the elderly were also young once!

When I was in my teens I wanted one and my Mum nearly had a wee coorie!! No way she said! So I wasn't allowed to have one. The notion wore off me but if it was today and I was in my teens again (if only), I would and would love a butterfly on my shoulder and Loki's smiling face on my upper arm!
