Still - it was a lovely surprise for the children and they did seem to enjoy it.

Before you tut at me impatiently, Rehab, take a moment to think - would you allow your children to chew food with their mouths open, wave their cutlery in the air, suck spaghetti up from the plate? I certainly would not - whatever the distractions.

If they eat it I say that's a bonus sucking up spaghetti is one of those childish things we all grow out of sadly as we lose the joy in life. Let them suck their pasta it shows they are at least enjoying life while they can.

Mouths open tends to be a school thing I think all mine have do, but know it's wrong, just a little rebellion again they grow out of it.
