Changes in just 18 months
Sometimes we wonder what the world will be like in 100 or more years time, but look at what can happen in just 18 months, as stated in todays paper:"Imagine you had gone to sleep in May 2015, and woken up just now, 18 months later, on a Saturday night.
President-elect Donald Trump is toasting Britain's exit from the EU with a grinning Nigel Farage in front of a set of gold doors.
David Bowie, Prince, Victoria Wood and Terry Wogan are all dead.
The chocolate-space filled ratio in Toblerone has been radically altered.
And bizarrely, Ed Balls is no longer the Shadow Chancellor or even an MP, but is performing enthusiastic 'dance moves' on television, that suggests he has been fed one of those designer drugs that are bringing Britain's prisons to their knees."
This made me smile, but it's all true isn't it.
Has there been many changes in your life in just 18 months?

If I had been frozen in May 2016, I would have found myself & nurse Gillian downsized from a VIctorian terraced cottage to a flat in a retirement community of 40 people mostly in their 80s & 90s.MY lifetimes hobby of birdkeeping & paraphernalia would have been sold off. 8 of my dearest & best friends would have died.
Motorcars are choking our streets, front gardens are being paved over, the NHS is dying from uncontrolled demand. THe ex PM has sold us down the river & scarpered. Politicians are completely out of touch.
The poor get poorer, the rich get richer. The people at the bottom of the pile in society are bbeing crushed, the streets are full of beggars. GB has gone to pot.
I wonder what the next 18 months will bring.

Salt and vinegar crisp packets have got smaller, its the end of civilisation has we know it.. I wonder what it will be like in 18 months time, Brexit..in or out or still in limbo? Donald Trump still in the White House, Putin now in control of the Baltic States, ISIS replaced by another set of initials , we live in interesting timesEdited. Oops sorry Megs, great minds
