It will make the unions more powerful again and any strikes that take place will be a lot more effective!!!

IMO every employee should belong to a union.

But that the unions' power must be kept in check.

and that foreign employees are protected from bullying.

Strangely enough I agree with you UJ.

The vast majority of EU Workers in the UK are from the former USSR.

They hate Communists with a vengeance.

It would be a good move for the UK to force them into Union Membership where they could vote out Momentum and the ragbag Communists.

We need new unions IMO, when I looked to join one to help when I was being bullied I couldn't find one would represent a cleaner in the private sector they were great if you worked in the public sector but uninterested in private sector.

I found my time in the union of my trade a very disappointing experience.

No one should be made to or coerced into joining a Union, it is for the individual to decide.

We have in the past seen the kind of blackmail resorted to by some unions where even those people who had no desire to strike were forced into doings so by a militant union .
Thank goodness those days are largely gone.

This reminds me of a joke poster that was going around years ago, (or maybe it wasn't a joke), it read something like:

Come to Holland and see 365 different kinds of cheeses

Come to Switzerland and see 365 different kinds of watches

Come to France and see 365 different kinds of wine

(I can't remember many of the others, but all were different countries famous for different products)

The last one was:

Come to England and see 365 different kinds of strikes.


It's probably still doing the rounds somewhere.
