Good morning Sunday

Good morning fellow members a bright chilly morning here.
There seem to be squirrels everywhere much to Chloe's delight. I guess they are so visible because they're busy collecting and storing as many acorns as they can from the surrounding oaks before the winter really set a in.

Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning.

A nice lie in this morning, and glad to see it's dry outside. I just need to make this place looking presentable for the surveyor in the morning, then I might get to the allotment to move the stuff I've stashed in our secure shed! Not the one on the plot...that's where it all needs to go.

Good morning Meg and Jazzi et al... a bright day here and frosty earlier but forecast to warm up over the next couple of days.

We have just clipped Oscar which takes around an hour, and just having a coffee before clipping Alfie similarly.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Re: Good morning Sunday

Good morning everybody.

It's a lovely bright morning here. I told Paula I'd go for a swim with her this morning.
Tony won't miss me - he never gets out of bed till 10.30 am. (except when on holiday)

Later we're going for a pub lunch and shopping at Tesco's which we never got round to doing yesterday..

Have a good day all.

Blimey, where is everyone??

Just got back from the High Street. I wanted some kohl rabies for my roast dinner. Yes, I still have football sized ones on my plot, but this is the only place to buy them, and reasonably priced. Also got some loose walnuts.

Walk up to Sainsburys, another little shop, and now home. Dinner is all prepared, just had bread and cheese for lunch, now fancy a little kip!

Re: Good morning Sunday

A late buenas dias from me. We were off to the market early this morning, came back having spent a small fortune. I'd left Mr Clumsy sitting in a café with ChoCho so he couldn't see how much I was spending, haha. I got lots of fruit and veg though, it's always so fresh and good there, and much cheaper than the supermarkets. 5 kilos of lovely oranges for 3 euros. 2 very fresh cauliflowers for 1 euro, I got quite a lot of other fruit and veg too.

Came home, did a few jobs, now preparing dinner for later this evening.

It's been a warm sunny day, but chilly first thing and going chilly now too.

Re: Good morning Sunday

EEK! Look at the time! Better get the roast dinner on. Been busy ordering taps and things.

OK, just taps, but checking my local council to see if they collect bathroom waste. They will collect the old suite, but looks like I'll have to take sacks of the old tiles myself, but I'll be saving over £110 because I was going for the Hippo bag and collection.

Laters...

Re: Good morning Sunday

Meg your picture is fantastic, it would be very similar to a picture near where i live now..

Good evening to everyone, i have been out all day on a poppy day ride out on the motorbike with the Cafe Bar people where we go, about 500 of us on a route march to the church this morning about 10 mile away we had a police escort once we got into the town, then we placed our crosses at the cenotaph in the church yard.
When we got home we took the dog for a run and ball play on the heath, and then had 2 pints at the pub well deserved
