Anyone for Vampires ?

I noticed the thread on The Walking Dead, Zombies, so thought I would enquire if others liked Vampire programmes. I have always had a soft spot for Vampires, from the old Dracula, Christopher Lee movies onwards.

I recently came across The Originals.
A series relaying the tale of the first family of vampires. It has action, a few surprises along the way and from the main character Niklaus a degree of wit. He is my favourite character. We are not supposed to like him, but he has that vulnerable side, lost soul, plus his great one liners adds a certain charm.

I have stocked up on crucifixs, holy water garlic and some extra Spam, I am sharpening some stakes too. I quite like vampires, they seem easier to kill than zombies.
