They were close Mags, about a couple of hundred yards away!There is a large park behind me, and they have this display in there every year for charities.
I get remains of fireworks all over my garden, and my car is usually covered in grey ash by morning!
My oldest dog who I lost in January, my old lurcher, just couldn't cope, I was always frightened she would have a heart attack.
Towards the end of her life she got very deaf, which was a blessing on firework night.
Last night I turned the telly up loud, and also turned the washing machine on to try and drown the noise a bit, and these younger dogs were pretty good. Some of the bangs didn't half make me jump though!

It's a shame no-one thought of the distress they cause to animals before they made them so loud...
