I know this is a very silly question but it made me smile!

So, have you ever given a High Five or used words like kids today do...i.e. Cool, Sound, Laters etc?

How would you respond if someone gave you a High Five?! Do you know the High Five lingo...Gimmee Five, on the line, up above?!!

Maybe you prefer a fist bump? !

Yes, my dog used to high five me, he's not steady enough on his back legs to do it now though.

High 5 has been around since the 70s.... I certainly remember it in my teens.
Ace, cool, sad etc. were all words we used and the kids lingo seems to be an extension of we used in the 80s.

Anyway, high 5s are sooo yesterday....its now fist bumping.

Yep, I have grandchildren, they use words like 'grind' 'edgy' and 'buff' I don't think they have ever used, 'cool or sound'

Yes all the time, especially to children, they know High Five from the age of 2 years old these days. If someone in the street said it to me, i'm willing to participate.
