Just a thought

Sometimes we may make a comment that reflects how we think. But then the message is filtered by the receiver.

Sometimes I think I am being ironic,but it is sarcastic? Or just sardonic? Never eat a clever cloggie book for supper

I'm all for sarcastic humour and irony and even smut but sometimes it is not perceived in the same way - particularly online because there are no facial expressions or body language to back it up. I'm sure that some of the remarks made on forums would be met with a smack on the nose in real life.

Most of us however, are able to tell the difference between a light-hearted comment and a nasty comment especially when a smiley face is added.

I suppose in real life we have to get to know people a bit before we start making risqué comments.
