Trick or Treat Etiquette

At the hairdressers today, apparently if you do not want trick or treat callers leave a pumpkin outside.

I posted in another thread about this but where I live it is if you DO want Trick or Treaters you put a pumpkin on display

Where I live, you stick a note on the door saying, "NO TRICK OR TREAT, THANK YOU".

I would put a rottweiler outside, they'd think twice about knocking then, would keep the Mormons and the JW's away as well!

First I've heard of it too Art.
Doubtless pumpkins are chuffed to have a job and role to fulfil ... and the brainwave of a good supermarket salesman or pumpkin grower no doubt.

Good idea though.
