Oh I found it did work!! I looked up my old address where I was born and brought up in Govan, Glasgow and saw St Gerard's school which was at one side of where I lived but unfortunately the old tenement where I lived was pulled down many years ago - I did have a tear in my eyes to see my old street the way it is now!!I also looked up my present address and saw a neighbour who was caught on the camera walking down the drive!! Saw my flat as well!!
That is a brilliant site and I have copied it to my Favourites!

I live in Edinburgh now , but lived and worked in Glasgow ( Kirkintilloch ) for many years ....... Loved it and miss it a lot .......... You cannie whack Weegie humour , eh ?
