New £ Coin

Hi

I hadn't realised the change was coming so soon.

Apparently there are loads of forged £ coins at the moment.

The new ones are more difficult to forge.

The coin doesn't come in before March 2017. Just a thought, and hopefully not one that will happen for a long while, but just supposing the Queen should die before then, that would really screw things up. One assumes many have been already minted.

Did you know that there is a collection of forgeries at the London Museum, they date back to Victorian times. You have to make an appointment to view them, but fascinating. Sorry I am always full of useless information.

There is always someone who will find a way to forge the new coins.

So all the parking meters, shopping trollies etc have to be changed to fit the new coin. What a waste.
