Are you an Angel?

Are you an Angel? Do you have to love and care for anybody in your family, perhaps a friend. Perhaps a neighbour who nobody else bothers about.
Or do you believe caring starts with yourself and others are not your problem?

I wouldn't describe myself that way but I've been main carer for several in my family elderly and children. Looks like my sister will need help soon too so not sure how we will fit her in but she'll come here if we can do it.

Nope, not an angel nor do I have to care for someone.

I do it cos she's my mum and she's not going in a nursing home, she's better off with me.

Then I think Julie, that defiantly makes you an Angel. I do hope that the future will give you your own space and time.

You dont need to care for someone to be an angel....I just happen to care for my eldest son and also care for mums needs now too as shes getting on a bit and cant walk as much as she could.
Its just life and you get on with things as best you can

I'm a carer for one of my sons. I also volunteer in a care home. BUT believe me. I am no angel.

Is that photograph someone you know Mike?

I admire all who are angels. A lot of time, hard work, dedication and patience is required. I'm afraid I haven't any of those qualities.

Well then Tpin I wish you well with that. Should you manage you will have done better than my wife and I, but we tried.

Finally the stress gave my wife a heart attack . While the ambulance was here the phone rang , it was ambulance crew at my MIL,s house again, insisting that I attended again. MIL once more had fallen out of her chair. Worse yet again she has filled it and the settee with the runs again.

It was then that I had to make the final choice.
