Which do you prefer a Kindle or an ordinary book?

Nowadays I prefer a Kindle.

For fun as a teenager I took a speed reading course and regret it. I enjoy reading, but read so fast I generally finish a book in a day, so I am always adding new ones to my Kindle.

I prefer my kindle too. Only problem there is i keep downloading new books and can't read them fast enough on the plus side I never run out of books any more

I love opening up a book.
How I would love to have floor to ceiling bookcases.

Books for me too - you can't cuddle down under the covers with a kindle very easily.

We have a u-shaped living room, where one of the 'arms' of the U has morphed into a library, with three tall bookcases and several shelves - all full. Much prefer a real book, especially for reference and non-fiction books where you might have to keep referring to pictures/photos or previous sections.

Having said that, I also have Kindle on my tablet with loads of books downloaded, which is really handy when we go away - much less packing!

Kindle far easier to read in bed than a proper book, you can change size of font so you don't need your glasses too. Brilliant invention.

I prefer a real book. I love books and my bookshelves are always full. I do have a problem parting with books though, I hate parting with them, but of course needs must.

Oh yes - my idea of heaven !

Kindles maybe useful - but they are soulless.
