What to wear for son's wedding ?

My son gets married in February and I am starting to panic now as I have no idea what to wear!

I would welcome some ideas, bearing in mind that it could be thick in snow!

I am wanting to wear smart ankle boots as I my feet don't get on with court type shoes - I have broad feet! I have found out that the bride's mum is wearing a champagne colour outfit so don't want to clash.

I have heard that John Lewis have a service to help you choose but I imagine that would be expensive.

A fur coat for certain CC - it's up to you what you wear under it.

My two married daughters supervised my choice of clothes for their weddings, in case I turned up in jeans and T shirt, which would have been my preferred option as I dislike dressing up!

I guess 'going commando' would hardly be de rigueur for a wedding ?

Choose a colour that suits you and look for a dress and matching jacket, or even a trouser suit if you feel the cold.
Many bridal wear places have clothes for the mums, so you may see something there. Whatever you choose, make sure it is something you really think you look good in...because all eyes will be on the bride that day, but yours will also be on yourself when the photos are received.

It's going to be rather chilly in February, Cheshire Cat. How about this?

I'm the same as you, I feel uncomfortable in a dress!
Jeans and t shirts are more my style. Flat comfy shoes too.
