Re: What? No Internet.
I stopped going to the dancing in my late teens when Bible John was around in Glasgow murdering young women!! I started dating and stuck to bars and clubs after that with the boyfriend of the dayRe: What? No Internet.
I am really glad the Internet and mobile phones weren't around when my kids were growing up in the 70s/80s! I am sure the middle one would have met someone undesirable on-line and gone to meet him unbeknown to us! The lovely man she married was the only chap she ever dared bring home!Re: What? No Internet.
When I was young we always went dancing at the weekend ( sometimes mid-week too), it was a great way to get out of shyness and meet new People. Making contact on the internet is not the same as face to face and while it is a good thing it's important to know who your kids are talking too, there are a lot of weirdo's out there and you never really know who you are dealing with. Like Qetta I'm glad it wasn't there when my two were growing up.Re: What? No Internet.
DM, there are disputes as to where Kilroy/Chad/Mr Foo originated from.Re: What? No Internet.
