Thought i would share this link to The 100 greatest photos without using Photoshop.There are some stunning images here, but the considered opinion of toggers on the site im on that some are indeed photoshopped.

Yes i agree Mart, its why ive never considered myself a photographer, just a snapper, these guys know their way around a camera. Even bog standard kit allows us to take better photos than we could without all the built in help.Having a good eye and knowledge is more important to produce such work as this. Having just joined a new site ive found that has very talented toggers that take the time to comment its been refreshing from the usual sites im on. Must add im not in their league.

I think there is a place for both 'Photoshopped' and not altered and I can appreciate both.
There is something special to me about the skill a of a photographer particularly the wildlife ones who can wait hours and days for the right 'natural' picture.

They are fantastic photos Nom.Some photographers have access to spectacular views and scenes, some don't, so I don't mind manipulation to make photos more interesting and artistic.
My favourite one was the leaf, it could be something that someone spotted in an everyday situation so I can identify with it.
It all boils down to what you can do with the skills and tools available to you. You have to be satisfied with that and be proud of what you produce.
