Good morning Thursday.



Good morning all.
It's a dull & drizzly day in my little corner of Derbyshire.

I'm off to the gym this morning and then over to spend the afternoon with Sue our daughter. It's her birthday today.

This evening we're out for a meal with her and her family so I've a nice day to look forward to.

Happy Birthday Sue.

It was pouring of rain this morning, its just stopped but its flooding outside our door, so Hubby has gone out there to try and sweep it all away.

It is pouring with rain here today - and I am going to Pocklington with a friend. She has to collect her new varifocal contact lenses - has to wear for an hour and then go back to see if all is well. We had planned to spend the hour looking around the shops but, if the rain keeps up, we may just have to take refuge in a coffee shop and comfort ourselves with lemon tarts !

sounds like a lovely day for you Carol.
I'm going to the gym today too, I try to go 3 times a week, but I've no other plans so will m have to find something to do.

No other plans apart from cooking a korma for lunch.

Goodmorning fellow members shopping done and put away.

The little ones are coming for a meal with their daddy after he picks them up from school so I have lots to do starting with making a chocolate roulade .
