Jailed twice for killing, now set for release.

Darren Pilkington was jailed in 2006 fir an indefinite period.
As a controlling boyfriend he killed girlfriend Carly Fairhurst.

He had previously served time for killing another man.

Carly's parents have been told to prepare for the worst as he has a parole hearing very soon.

So that's another nut job that'll be freed to kill again

Shame we haven't still got the death sentence here for certain crimes.

And it seems to keep right on happening Tpin.

We've had discussions on this before, about criminals not serving their full sentences.

Wouldn't you think that if someone had already served time for killing someone before that he would never even get offered parole on this sentence and would have to serve the full term.

Re: Jailed twice for killing, now set for release.

I find it hard to believe that someone who has killed once, been inside (for how long?), released, killed again, and now up for possible release after ten years.

On that basis, a twenty year-old could be allowed to kill up to six or seven people in succession.

There's something wrong with our judicial system. I think we'd all agree with that.

Like Tiffany, I believe we should never have got rid of the death sentence and I wonder just how bad things need to get before it is re-introduced.
