Anyone into Northern Soul Music?

Hi, I'm new. Just wondered if there are any other Northern Soul fans on here?

Sorry but no. I did try to get into one of Stringfellow`s clubs once but was turned away as my hair was too long.

Odd that as he seems to have grown his as mine fell out

Well thats strange OG - he wasn't too fussy about letting us into his club in Sheffield - My first husband's was lead singer in a group and regularly played at his club and we all had long hair. It was the uniform

I am not quite sure what Northern Soul Music is Northern Soul Girl - is it from the North of England - if so then yes, there was some good music coming out of the North many years ago.

Played loads of Northern Soul in the Speakeasy in Boro in the 70s.
