Joining an art group with a good tutor is good idea
all the group help each other.
I do not do much pencil drawing, as I prefer brushes and colour .
All the best Artists are very good at drawing and in the Ashmolean Museum,On-line, they have large collections of famous drawings with pencil, pen, charcoal, 'Western Art Drawing Collection', and you can buy reproductions too.
