The Brexit Timetable

Hi

Well now we know.

Article 50 letter by the end of March.

Repeal Bill to be included in Queen's Speech in May.

All EU Legislation to be formally incorporated into UK law and then changed as we see fit over time.

That means Merkel and Hollande will be under pressure right in the run up to their Elections next year.

The fun will start when the Repeal Bill is laid before Parliament.

Everybody and their mother will be having their say then.

It'll be interesting to see which way the SNP will go. As if we didn't know already.

Hi

We already know which way the SNP will go, Nicola has made her position perfectly clear.

Far more interesting will be how many Labour MPs will follow Corbyn's declared position of unlimited immigration.

Corbyn himself had a long history of voting against his leaders, hope he awards the same freedoms to his own backbenchers.

As if I care that much. The cattle trucks are not being loaded with immigrants and some of my investments earn dollars and pay in pounds.

Maybe now the likes of Anna Soubry and Emily Thornberry will shut up.

Anna Soubry won't shut up , she was on the radio at lunchtime saying it was all being done too quickly and made it sounds as if we will actually be leaving in March rather than starting the 2 year process .

I am delighted to see some kind of timetable and things moving at last

Am thoroughly fed up with sulky contrary bleating from all those who will not accept fact that Britain is leaving EU.

Re: The Brexit Timetable

If they didn't vote for Brexit why would they be quiet just because it irritates you.

The analysis of whether it was right to leave or right to stay will continue ways beyond our lifetimes each side citing evidence for their position - it's a fact of life.

So maybe you should cease bleating because I'm thoroughly fed up with those gloating over the result who don't have a clue how it's all going to pan out.

Did you naively expect it to just go all quiet once the result was in?

Hope all the remainers go live in Europe that they love so much, will free up a few homes and hospital places, plus my ears wont have that whining sound any more.

Shouldn't think so, they like the sound of their own voices too much.
