Good morning Thursday

Good morning everyone, blowing a gale and raining here but hopefully it will brighten up later.

I have to stop in this morning as a new mattress is being delivered, and this afternoon I have to go for an aortic ultrasound test, just a one off apparently for all men over 65, although I'd never heard of it before until the appointment letter arrived.

I got one of those letters Barry, but I am not 65.

An afternoon at the Hospital beckons, I am not looking forward to it.

Good morning fellow members the rain is clearing away and the sun is out so I might get the lawns mown today.

A large batch of fresh yeast arrived for the freezer yesterday so I am going to make some olive bread this morning to go with the soup for lunch.

Morning all.

We are just having a bit of rain right now with some wind. Glad I didn't pop down to the allotment to work. Lol. (Woke up late anyway...)

Shall start to tidy up the lounge today. I can see a huge pile of shredding that needs doing, too.

Good morning been to a meeting at the school this morning, got to think about what has been said before I react I think. Off to hospital in a while really not looking forward to it as I think it's not going to be good news.

My colleague at work walked out last night so double shirt tonight as my boss is on holiday and won't be back to advertise etc until middle of October so will be double shifts for a while.

A very quick good morning from me.

I've had the most hectic morning getting the grandchildren off to school/nursery and taking Tony to the doctors.

I'm having a quick coffee now to get my strength back and then off on a hike up the Peak district with Chris. It's a nice sunny morning here but I'm taking my rainwear just in case.
