Fishing.

What satisfaction/enjoyment does a person get from fishing ? It looks so boring to me!!

And why do you never see women fishing?

Re: Fishing.

Never understand it myself unless it's for the peace and quiet and to enjoy a bit of quiet contemplative meditation.

The same as I'd never understand women who got ratty and hissed 'Shush!' as they stabbed their pens over their bingo cards. It's suicidal to distract a woman playing bingo.

Re: Fishing.

Peace, quiet, solitude and surroundings all play a big part in it.

How long have you got, alas I do not have the hours to answer and if people have reached our age without finding the answer they have my sympathy. The last time I went trout fishing there were six ladies fishing that day. What is it you cannot understand, the blue waters of the Gulf, The rivers of Norway or perhaps the wild and remote lakes of Canada or trekking the upper reaches of the mighty Ganges in India . Or in the UK, learning from a child about living with nature and how the system works. Yes all boring compared with sitting on forums all day, wasting life away and getting excited about endless junk like smart phones and I Pads and similar junk. Now spending life around that I do not understand.

Re: Fishing.

Why then do women wear fishnet tights if they don't go fishing Carol?
