31 years ago today I got married. Although Jenny past away just 5 weeks after our 25th it has been my custom to cook a special meal on this day. You guessed-another day and no fitters.

No reason you can't remember the day with a meal og, plenty of places serve food or a take away can be nice. You deserve a treat with all you are going through with the fitters too.

We have been married for 47 years and haven't murdered each other yet, which is some sort of miracle!

Oh OG, get Jenny's favourite take away dish, and bottle of wine, pour yourself and Jenny a glass, and just go back in yourself to the good times.

I do this every year for my Late Sister's birthday, been 9 years now, but I still cook her favourite meal (I know that you can't do that atm) and ok I confess, I do drink my Sister's glass too.

Enjoy your meal, and put those flipping fitters out of your mind, for tonight xxx

OG, if you wife is looking down on you she won't mind if the meal is not so special, under the circumstances. No matter what you eat, I am sure she will be so happy that you have such wonderful memories of her.
I know that she may not be looking down on you, but I made a promise to my dad, just before he died, and nothing in this world would make me break that promise, whether he is watching me or not.. so just raise a glass to Jenny, even if it is only fish and chips!
