First female frontline soldier.

Ben joins army as a man.
Changes his name to Chloe.
Starts hormone treatment and becomes first female frontline soldier.

Me thinks this is cheating.

What a load of ballcocks.......or not, as the case may ultimately be.

Love the bit "sporting long polished nails and stud earrings"

Good luck to her, well done to her colleagues for being supportive.

I imagine this thread will descend into smut ridden comments shortly so, I'll leave you to it.

Some of you need to grow up.

She's a he.
Ben might have changed his name legally but has only just started hormone therapy... only when all that is complete will he be Chloe.
I think it is cheating too.... though his wife has taken it well.

Is that what is called a preemptive strike?
As I was the only one to have commented I assume it's me that has to grow up?

A tad ott don't you think?

None of my comments were smutty, in fact they were probably much the same as he is experiencing right now.....without malice.

I said it would descend, I didn't say it already had, but it will as usual.

Re: First female frontline soldier.

Here's something I don't know .. but someone else might.

As he is now a she would he still serve in the same regiment or have to move to a female regiment?

I'm just wondering as she's been dubbed the first female on the front line.
Do true women serve on the front line yet?

Re: First female frontline soldier.

My comments were/are aimed at the claims to being the first frontline female soldier(when her transition is complete) which imo is nonsense.

soldier does job well, job done.
That's all that counts but the claims are just political bs.

Very few but they are usually within a normal regiment, army is reasonably equal in some ways.
