Parking Wardens

I returned to my car this morning, to find, one of those Scooter bound Parking Wardens taking a photo of two cars parked fully on the footpath, his Scooter being parked on double yellow lines, next to my car. The tickets were already under the wipers of the cars concerned, but one of the owners of one of the vehicles, bounded over to the Scooter and took a photo of it one the lines. The situation seemed to be getting heated, so, I thought better of telling the chap Wardens are exempt from such restrictions, anyway, the Warden was only doing his job.

I despise those that park on pavements.
More so since having kids and my mum became wheelchair bound.

Having to walk on the road with a baby in a pram really wound me up.

Inconsiderate bar stewards.

Re: Parking Wardens

It happens all the time in the close my daughter lives in, not only parked on the paths but also double parked. I hate to think what would happen if an ambulance needed to go down that road. There are no lines so it is a bit of a free for all. I would hate to live in a cul-de-sac.

I used to live on a cul-de-sac near a rugby club, on match days you'd sometimes get the odd supporters car parked.

On one occasion there were quite a few parked on both sides of the road when there was a fire at the old folks home at the end of the road and the engine couldn't get through.

One of the fire officers knocked on every door asking if they'd move there cars, which they did.

The remains cars were just swept aside as the engine pushed them aside.

There's no stopping them when lives are at risk.

I guess that would happen in my daughters road too.
They park cars/vans in our road, but it's much wider.

Re: Parking Wardens

Any car parked on a pavement, or anywhere else they should not, should be crushed and the owner fined £5000. That will get their attention.

Re: Parking Wardens

I thought parking wardens and their ilk were referred to as enforcement officers?
