Re: Have You Ever Had A Mad Moment?
I always have one of my guitars in the cab with me. It's proved it's worth a thousandfold, when I've been waiting for my police escort to arrive,or to scout ahead shutting side roads, roundabouts, etc,so I can ease through busy areas. Circa three weeks ago,I'd got a HUGE-and impatient-queue stuck behind me as I approached Imminham dock. I had to stop while the police escort went ahead to close sideroads etc. The traffic behind me had to stop, which brought forth a LOT of adverse and very loud expletives...so I got my ol' geetar, stood on the back of the load [a massive smelting chamber heading to Zeebrugge] and played/sang "Shuddup-a your face" to the angry traffic stuck behind me. The copper on the offside rear escort bike very nearly had a fit!Re: Have You Ever Had A Mad Moment?

Re: Have You Ever Had A Mad Moment?
I had one mad moment years ago when I was offered a ride in a glider. I thought they took off like any other plane, had I known we would be virtually catapulted into the air I would have refused the offer. One thing for sure, that mad moment has never been repeated and never will again. I was terrified.Re: Have You Ever Had A Mad Moment?
I have one I'd like to share but I'm waiting to get in touch with EDP newspapers for a copy of their reporting.Re: Have You Ever Had A Mad Moment?
