If you ever fancy going for sturgeon there's a farm near Wigan that has quite a few in their day ticket water.

He's enormous!!
Mustve taken some effort to reel him in..
I hope theyre not going to eat him now theyve caught him..he deserves to be left to swim free where he's lived all that time

The Canadian Sturgeon is back swimming around happily, they are a protected species.

It is around 80 years old, it has another 20 years to keep growing.

Im so pleased to hear that SF ,he looks as if he needs protecting such a magnificent creature ...will he grow much bigger in the next 20 yrs ?

He will get so big the NHS will refuse him an operation.
